BACKGROUND

TND PRECISION, INC. began as Van Nuys, California based Trifunovic Machining in 1979 and was later incorporated as TND PRECISION, INC. Since then, TND has been called on to manufacture parts for such well-known defense, military and aerospace related companies as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Irvin Aerospace, MOOG, as well as leading non-defense industry customers like ABB, a global provider of power and automation technologies to utility and industry customers.

Today, TND Precision, Inc. is known for its quality craftsmanship and precision machining. TND manufactures parts to customer specifications from raw stock, forging, or casting to finished product. Whether a unique prototype or thousands of identical parts, TND has the capability and experience to deliver quality parts on-time. Close tolerances and exacting specifications are TND's specialty.

TND's total quality management program reflects its goal of producing conforming parts on-time, each and every time. TND's total quality management program strives for company-wide excellence in all aspects of TND's business. TND's quality control program has been acknowledged and approved by government and private enterprises. TND's quality control program has been found to meet the requirements of our customers and one or more of the following standards:

In accordance with MIL-STD-45662A, all of TND's inspection equipment is calibrated equipment, with certifications traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In addition to traditional inspection equipment, TND also uses such high-technology inspection equipment as a Brown & Sharpe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

TECHNOLOGY

As part of TND's goal to deliver unparalled service to its customers, TND invests in new computing, machining and inspection technologies and systems. TND carefully selects technologies that it believes will enhance its ability to serve its customers more efficiently and effectively. Statistical Process Control (SPC), Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), and Computer Numerical Controls (CNC) are all part of TND's technology resources.
